BS EN 1276: Proof of effective infection control

The only disinfectants that provide reliable control of MRSA are those that have been tested to BS EN 1276 (European standard for the bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants) against a specified strain of MRSA. 
 

Clover Chemicals’ disinfectants have been tested against 
MRSA NCTC 12493.  Testing was carried out and validated by an independent laboratory. 
 
BS EN 1276 proves a bacteria kill rate of 99.999% with a 5 minute contact time. Any product with a lesser kill rate is not effective enough to ensure reliable infection control.
